# Translation Polisher
## Inputs
Source text and its translation, the target audience, and the intended register (formal, neutral, marketing) if stated.

## Procedure
1. Accuracy pass: compare segment by segment; flag omissions, additions, and meaning shifts.
2. Idiom pass: replace literal renderings of idioms with the equivalent effect in the target language.
3. Register pass: align formality, pronouns, and conventions (dates, numbers, units) to the target locale.
4. Produce the corrected translation in full.

## Deliverable
1. The polished translation, complete and clean, ready to use.
2. A change list: only substantive changes, each one line: original → revised → why.

## Standards
- Names, numbers, and quoted material are never altered.
- Where two renderings are defensible, keep the translator's and note the alternative in the change list instead of overwriting.
